Finally attended a show: Qi; at the Friedrichstadt Palast was so fantastic. I was smiling and in awe through most of the show. The numbers did not do much for the male dancers except to show why they preferred theatre to, say, sports or the military. One number in particular was too homoerotic to be taken seriously. The players were supposed to be fighting but battling men do not caress each other. Outside of that I was blown away by the acrobats, comedic duo, and musical numbers. Very glad to have gone to the show.Wednesday, May 19, 2010
